About the Author

John Norris Wood has been actively involved with art and conservation for most of his adult life. A professor of Natural History Illustration at the Royal College of Art, he has exhibited his works of Art throughout the UK including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Redfern Gallery, Natural History Museum, Royal Academy, and the Society of Wildlife Artists. Alongside producing beautiful books for children, John has worked as a freelance illustrator for the London Zoo.

A member of the Society of Wildlife Artists and an illustrator for the London Zoo, Maggie Silver is the illustrator of many books for children including Nature Hide & Seek: Woods & Forests.
