John Norris Wood has been actively involved with art and conservation for most of his adult life. A professor of Natural History Illustration at the Royal College of Art, he has exhibited his works of Art throughout the UK including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Redfern Gallery, Natural History Museum, Royal Academy, and the Society of Wildlife Artists. Alongside producing beautiful books for children, John has worked as a freelance illustrator for the London Zoo.
A former pupil of John Norris Wood’s at London’s Royal College of Art, Kevin Dean is best known for his illustrations of plants. In this book, he painted the plants, while John painted the animals.
